This is an incredible fund and friend raiser for Kauai’s American Cancer Society that is part concert, part dance-mania, and all about honoring those who have moved on from cancer and those that still survive the fight. Currently slated are The Quake, Revival and Second Nature. Purchase baked goods, delicious dinners, fun items and educate yourself about prevention of all kinds of cancer. Artists in Action. The Volcano Village Artists Hui presents a day of art demonstrations and hands on activities. Activities include demonstrations of wheel thrown pottery & Japanese paste paper, and hands on activities. VSAS students will be selling artwork and homemade cookies, there will be samples of Volcano grown teas to taste, as well as native plants for sale, all to benefit the school art program. Hula Arts at Kilauea

Hula Arts at Kilauea. A Hula Kahiko Informance with kumu Leilehua Yuen and Manu Josiah, and is a 50-minute narrated demonstration of preparation, protocol and offering of traditional hula and chant. This inspired outdoor presentation takes place rain or shine at the hula platform located near VAC Gallery in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
