Living History Day. Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor comes alive in both hangars. Meet pioneers and heroes from Pacific aviation history, interact with living historians in period attire, and hear the stories of WWII, Korea, Viet Nam eras, and early aviation in the Pacific. The events are free with Museum admission and free to Museum Members. Chinese New Year at the Kings Shops
Saturday, February 1: Chinese New Year at the Kings Shops. Celebrate the Chinese New Year and welcome the Year of the Horse. While supplies last, attendees will receive a free lai see (red and gold envelope) to fill with an honorarium and feed to the lions for good luck. Happy Birthday Battleship Missouri

Happy Birthday Battleship Missouri. The ship was christened Jan. 29, 1944, as World War II raged in the Pacific. On the Missouri’s deck on Sept. 2, 1945, as it was anchored in Tokyo Bay, the Japanese signed the documents of surrender that ended the war. Actors portraying wartime heroes will participate in “living history” activities at the Oahu landmark. Bands, displays of military memorabilia and oral history presentations will round out the special events. Visitors can also tour the Mighty Mo. Admission is $22 for adults and $11 for children 4-12.
