Surf Art and the Surfer Art Festival

Surf Art and the Surfer Art Festival.  This event will consist of art galleries, live music, live art, food trucks, local vendors, and a family fun environment.  Surfing The Nations (STN) strongly believes in using art and surfing as a medium to change communities and bring people together. This organization is currently constructing a new community center that will offer several educational services to the kids and young adults in the area.  The center will become a place where children will have the chance to ignite their dreams and passions. Skyline Eco-Adventures Zip 4 the Trees.  Enjoy Hawaiian sounds of Paula Fuga and Kanekoa. Experience three of their best ziplines on Skyline Haleakala plus the suspension bridge for $40 or purchase a spectator suggested donation only ticket for $10 to stop by and enjoy the music and the day’s events.  Skyline Eco-Adventures will be planting over 300 native Hawaiian trees and all proceeds will be donated to three Maui Children’s Charities. 22nd Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival, Kaua`i Style

22nd Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival, Kaua`i Style.  Event showcases up to 15 artists known in the Slack Key Guitar genre performing for six solid hours. Slack Key Guitar is an indigenous guitar art form that began in 1830 on the Big Island of Hawai`i and will be celebrating 184 years of existence. The event will also feature island crafters, festival merchandise for sale and food and beverage. Kokua Kailua Hulihe`e Palace Concert Series & Village Stroll.  Ali`i Drive along scenic Kailua Bay in Kailua-Kona becomes a festive pedestrian-only walkway from 1 to 6 p.m. Enjoy music, artists, merchants and restaurants. At 4 p.m., there is a free Hawaiian music concert on the lawn at Hulihe`e Palace.
