Haiku Ho`olaule`a and Flower Festival.  The Maui community and visitors alike are invited to spend the day, bring their families and lawn chairs and join the Haiku community to enjoy live entertainment, culinary delights from local restaurants and the Haiku PTA, the famous Haiku bake sale, one of the largest silent auctions on Maui, floral design and lei making contests, a Haiku historical display, plenty of activities for Keiki and much more. Saturday, April 22:
Love the West Maui Greenway Day.  This free, family-friendly event will include Hawaiian music and entertainment, fitness classes, children’s activities, educational booths and more. This event is to help raise awareness for the West Maui Greenway project, a proposed 25-mile, multi-use pathway along Maui’s Western shore. Tentative Schedule: Get Fit the Green Way 9 a.m. to 12 noon: Yoga by Good Karma Yoga, fun fitness activities, hula hooping, keiki bike rodeo, keiki art project, guided Greenway exploration rides and walks. Hula Kahiko Performance. Hula halau from across Hawai`i and beyond have been invited to perform in a one-of-a-kind outdoor setting at the kahua hula (platform) in the Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park, located just a short walking distance from the Volcano Art Gallery in Ka`auea. 10:30 a.m.  Audience members are encouraged to bring sun/rain gear and sitting mat.
