Wednesday, March 17:
Anahola Prince Kuhio Day Celebration.  This event will reaffirm the leadership, stewardship, and vision of Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole and his legacy in perpetuating the growth of healthy Hawaiian community on aina ho`opulapula (homesteads land). Participate in a day of fun filled activities. There will be educational, cultural, health and wellness exhibits for the whole family. Enjoy live music, entertainment, and hula performances in celebrating the past and embracing the future of Prince Kuhio’s legacy. There will also be food and craft booths too. Ho`okupu (offering) protocol ceremony will begin at 11a.m. Admission is free. Historic Waimea Walking Tour.  Take a 3 hour walk back through time in the place where Captain Cook first landed in Waimea.  Learn about the last King of Kaua`i, the missionaries, and other famous citizens of Waimea and the landmarks they left behind.
