An all-female concert hosted by The Zonta Club of Kaua`i Foundation Scholarship Fundraiser, featuring Broadway performer Anne Runolfsson, Tess Adams, who appeared on Broadway in Phantom of the Opera & Les Miserables, Elizabeth Kreitzer, from Kaua`i, who has played roles in musical theater like West Side Story, Violinist Kimberly Hope, a teacher/composer and performer for countless audiences, and local girl Jessika Cristobal (Montoya), who has performed with Hawai`i Children’s Theatre production and dinner shows on Kaua`i. Music Director Ray Fellman will accompany the performers. Tickets include pupus from local chefs and no host drinks. $75 in advance, $100 at the door. Beautifully produced with archival footage from the Bud Browne Film Archives, it showcases over 50 of surfing’s greatest legends, including George Downing, Buzzy Trent, Gerry Lopez, and Duke Kahanamoku. The film is a celebration of the sport and the generations who defined it, capturing the pure joy and mystery of riding waves through the eyes of surfing’s history.
