Pacific Whale Foundation’s Run & Walk for the Whales

Saturday, January 31:
Pacific Whale Foundation’s Run & Walk for the Whales. One of the largest fun runs and walking events on Maui. The race includes a 2.5 mile walk, 5K run, 10K run and half marathon run. This fundraiser supports humpback whale research, as well as marine education and conservation. The Run & Walk begins and ends at Ma`alaea Harbor Shops, and includes live entertainment by local recording artist Marty Dread. Participants will also enjoy a post-race continental breakfast, tours of Pacific Whale Foundation’s facilities, discounted whale watch tickets and a commemorative t-shirt. The Run & Walk for the Whales also includes professional chip timing for runners, Gatorade aid stations, plus free massages from the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage.
