Lei Making Workshop – Kalama Beach Park. Learn Hawaiian lei-making methods (hili, haku, wili, kipuu, kui and humupapa). Bring your supplies (flowers with three inch stems, greenery such as fern, ti leaf, lacy panax; raffia, scissors or snippers, buttons/carpet thread, sewing needle, lei needle, spray bottle filled with water, container to hold your plant material). Basic flowers and greenery will be provided. Open to all ages; an adult must accompany a child who is younger than 11 years. Kalama Beach Park, 248 N.
