Honolulu City Lights Opening Night Festivities. Food booths and keiki rides open at 4 p.m. The Electric Light Parade leaves A`ala Park and proceeds down King Street to Honolulu Hale at 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., a 55-foot Norfolk tree is illuminated, triggering the “Corridor of Lights” down King and Punchbowl streets. Decorated trees and wreath displays open in Honolulu Hale Courtyard, Santa visits with children in the Mission Memorial Auditorium. The Electric Light Parade will pass by Honolulu Hale after traveling through Chinatown. The opening night also includes a free, star-studded holiday concert near the Sky Gate. Honolulu Hale, 530 S.
