10th Annual Kauai World Challenge

Thursday – Saturday, April 19 – 21:
  10^th Annual Kauai World Challenge.  The 3-day event begins with a “warm up” 10-mile outrigger canoe paddle on Thursday on the North Shore followed by registration and expo on Friday afternoon. Then on Saturday, the main event, the 34-mile coastal relay race begins at Wailua Beach Park. OC1 and OC 2 teams paddle from Wailua Beach to Salt Pond Beach Park with paddler exchanges at specific relay points. The first relay change is at Hanamaulu Beach Park, then on to Kalapaki Bay in front of the Kauai Marriott Resort & Beach Club. The paddlers perform their final exchange in Waiohai Bay in Poipu where they paddle to the finish at Salt Pond Beach Park.  For information call
