FREE ADMISSION Exhibit: Art & Activism: An Exhibition About Change (Neida) August 25 – October 31, 2019; Schaefer International Gallery; Tues-Sun, 10am – 5 pm (Also open before Castle Theater shows and during intermission) We have invited an impressive group of artists who address issues relevant to our time with ideas about politics, environment, and gender seen through printmaking, fiber arts, time-based media, and installation. It is our hope that the breadth and influence of this exhibition will enhance public awareness and encourage thoughtful process and engagement in civic discussion. Invited artists are: Sandow Birk and Elyse Pignolet (Los Angeles, CA), Orly Cogan (New York, NY), Kanani Miyamoto (Portland, OR), Paul Mullowney (San Francisco, CA), and Abigail Romanchak (Maui, HI).
