It features live on stage presentations that share the history and traditions of the Hawaiian culture through storytelling, film, music, oli and hula. The Hawai`i Lineman’s Rodeo.  There are many utility linemen rodeos across the nation every year and Hawaiian Electric, Maui Electric, & Hawai`i Electric Light Companies are excited to present the first of its kind, here in Hawaii. Sunday, February 17: 
Kokua Kailua Hulihe`e Palace Concert Series & Village Stroll.  One Sunday each month from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Ali`i Drive along scenic Kailua Bay in Kailua-Kona becomes a festive pedestrian-only walkway. Enjoy music, artists, merchants and restaurants. At 4 p.m., there is a free Hawaiian music concert on the lawn at Hulihe`e Palace. Na Mea Hawai`i Hula Kahiko Performance featuring Halau Na Pua Ha`aheo O Kona with kumu hula Roy Palacat. This outdoor presentation takes place rain or shine at the hula platform located near VAC Gallery. Panaewa Stampede Rodeo.  Check out rodeo Hawaiian-style at this weekend event featuring an amateur competition between cowboys, cowgirls, keiki and kupuna. Kamuela Philharmonic St. Valentine’s Day Fundraising Concert.
