Annual Canada-France-Hawai`i Telescope Stargazing Party – Waimea. 
Right after the Waimea Christmas Twilight Parade from approximately 7 to 9 p.m., CFHT will host its annual stargazing party, with telescopes, hot beverages, keiki activities, and an opportunity to talk to the astronomers. Members of the West Hawai’i Astronomy Club will also be there with telescopes.  CFHT front lawn, 65-1238 Mamalahoa Hwy, Waimea. Free to the public. Twilight Christmas Parade – Waimea.
  Starting at Church Row, and ending at Waimea Town Park. Visit with Santa at the Parker Ranch Center, 67-1175 Hawai`i Belt Rd., Waimea, immediately after the parade and have a free picture taken with him. There will be goody bags for all children, while supplies last. Charitable donations will be accepted to benefit the Waimea Lions Club and North Hawai`i Hospice.  5:30 p.m.

  Arts and fine crafts will be in abundance at the 10th Anniversary Paradise Studio Tour, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to visit artists in their home studios in Hawaiian Paradise Park, Kea`au. Seven studios with 25 local artists showing oil painting, watercolors, collage, pastels, acrylic, cement, wood sculpture, jewelry making, pottery, ceramics, silk painting, fashion art, gourd crafting, photography and more. Volcano Village Artists Hui Annual Art Studio Tour & Sale

Volcano Village Artists Hui Annual Art Studio Tour & Sale. 
Visitors are invited to meet the Volcano Village Artists in their studios and see artworks in a wide variety of media. Pottery; raku masks, hand blown art glass, wood & metal sculpture, hand-tooled metal and fiber art, as well as photographs, paintings, drawings and block prints will be on display and available for purchase. A special drawing for pieces contributed by the artists will be held on the last day of the event.
