Ironman 70.3 Half Triathlon

Ironman 70.3 Half Triathlon. This event is half the Ironman distance – 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, and 13.1-mile run, and is held at the beautiful Fairmont Orchid, Hawai`i Resort on the Kohala Coast. It is part of the official qualifier series for the 2014 Ironman Triathlon World Championship in October. The swim is off Hapuna Beach; the bike ride goes on the northern part of the Ironman championship bike course to Hawi in North Kohala; the run is around the Mauna Lani and Fairmont Orchid golf courses and along the historic Ala Loa foot trail.
