Lights on Rice Street Parade and Christmas Craft Fair. Fun Parade with the community lighting up themselves or their vehicles to celebrate the arrival of the Holiday Season. Parade starts when the Festival of Lights (at the Historic County Building) lights up at 6 p.m. Parade route begins at the Vidinha Stadium and travels up Rice Street to the Historic County Building. There is also a craft fair at the Kaua`i Museum that lasts all day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with food vendors; the museum will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Kaua`i Museum, 4428 Rice St., Lihue. Old Town Kapa`a Art Walk. Kapa`a Town goes all out for its First Saturday of every month Art Walk. The main street is lined with vendors selling Kaua`i Arts and crafts, with some of Kaua`i’s best musicians and bands playing up and down the street. There are lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. It’s great fun for the whole family and a great way to see Kaua`i life whether you are a visitor or resident. Kapa`a Town. 5 to 9 p.m. Free.

Kaua`i Museum Christmas Craft Fair. Kaua`i Museum’s Annual Christmas Craft Fair is held outdoors. Visit many Artisan and food vendors for one of kind gifts for the whole family. Also, enjoy the Christmas Lights across the street at the Historic County Building and watch the colorful floats as the parade passes by. Kaua`i Museum will be open from 9am-4pm regular hours. Ha`aheo `O Hawai`i Exhibit

Ha`aheo `O Hawai`i Exhibit. Cleopatra’s Barge was an opulent yacht built in Massachusetts in 1816. It became The Royal Yacht of King Kamehameha II but was wrecked in 1824. It cost about $50,000 to build, and about the same amount for luxury furnishings. Marvel at the opulence of this beautifully crafted ship, whose splendor was breathtaking for its day. 26th Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival – Kaua`i Style. Event will feature up to 16 performing artists in the Slack Key Guitar Genre, including award winning artists. The event will also feature “Made in Hawai`i” products and favorite foods and snacks.
