Obon Dance & Festival. The Obon tradition was brought to Hawai`i by Japanese immigrants and evolved into a social and cultural event, as well as a religious custom designed to honor ancestors through an evening of dance, music and merry-making. Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky

Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky. Featuring 3D fireworks at 8:30 p.m. choreographed to a 20-minute soundtrack. Enjoy local entertainment by local performers, with Kapena headlining the event. Kekaha Fourth of July Celebration Event. Enjoy cultural demonstrations, a variety of crafts, a plantation museum, with games and rides for the keiki. Local entertainment is featured throughout the day along with contests, a talent show and much more. Booths provide plenty of ono food and cold refreshing water and soda. Finish the day with a spectacular fireworks display accompanied by live music in honor of our Hawaiian military men and women who protect our liberty of our country.
