Independence Day Celebration at PMRF

Friday, July 3:
Independence Day Celebration at PMRF.  Enjoy food, games and craft booths, music by local musicians, and a heart-pounding fireworks display. Admission is free for this family-oriented event. Attendees can enter the base through the Kokole Point gate (adjacent to the county landfill) on Kaumuali`i Highway beginning at 5 p.m. Free parking will be available on base. Vehicles are subject to search. No pets, coolers or outside food and beverages allowed. Pacific Missile Range Facility, Shenanigans Restaurant, 1308 Club Road, Kekaha. 5 p.m. to midnight. Slack key guitar and `ukulele in the real old style.  All traditional music with songs and stories of the islands, telling the history of this Hawaiian musical art form. King Kamehameha Celebration. Fabulous Floral Parade event with traditional Pa`u riders representing each island and Hawaiian organizations in full regalia.
