Hawaiian Music Series.  Enjoy live Hawaiian music on the Baldwin Home lawn from 6 to 7:30 p.m.  The free program takes place in historic Lahaina and features local entertainers performing traditional Hawaiian music. Hawaiian Moonlight.  George Kahumuku Jr. and friends volunteer their talent, and organize stage performances of Hawaiian music as their way of “giving back” to the Bailey House Museum. Bring your blanket or a low back beach chair and enjoy the evening listening to music under the moon and stars. Limited seating is available for kupuna on a first-come first-seated basis. The Museum will be open to those who appreciate Hawaiian history and artifacts. Bring a cooler with snacks if you like; water and soda will be available for purchase. Maui Brewers Festival

Maui Brewers Festival.  Taste beers from over 30 craft breweries from Maui and beyond, sample appetizers from over 20 of Maui’s popular restaurants and food trucks, and enjoy live music. Paid general admission includes eight 4 oz. samples of beer in a commemorative glass, island-style dishes and parking (from 4 to 7 pm). Portuguese Festa.  Beginning with a Coronation of Our Lady of Fatima ceremony, enjoy dance, food, music and fun.  Caldo Verde soup, roll, and Azorean iced tea will be served at the function for a small fee. Maui Classical Music Festival.  World class musicians play a series of concerts in some of the island’s most beautiful churches. Enjoy Chamber music being played as it was meant to be, in a beautiful and intimate setting. May 3 – Makawao Union Church, 1445 Baldwin Avenue, Makawao; May 6 – Keawala’i Congregational Church, 5300 Makena Road, Kihei; May 8 – Wananalua Congregational Church, 10 Hauoli Street, Hana; May 10 – Keawala’i Congregational Church, 5300 Makena Road, Kihei. Candlelit Tours at the Baldwin Home Museum.  Step back in time and visit the Baldwin Home Museum with a tour by candle light.
