The Maui Bird Conservation Center Annual ‘Open House’

Saturday & Sunday, November 3 & 4: 
The Maui Bird Conservation Center Annual ‘Open House’.  MBCC is a non-public facility that focuses on captive breeding and reintroduction of endangered Hawaiian birds. The captive population of Alala just surpassed 100 birds.  Activities will include presentations, a guided tour of the birds, aviaries and grounds, as well as an opportunity to buy an MBCC T-shirt, help name an Alala and a silent auction. Tour times will be 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. both days.  Space is limited for the tours, so reservations are required. Call (808) 572-0690 for reservations.  The Maui Bird Conservation Center is located 4 miles up Olinda Road from Makawao in Upcountry Maui.

Candlelit Tours at the Baldwin Home Museum
