The group’s self-titled album, released in 1993, remains the #1 selling recording by a group or duo in the history of recorded Hawaiian music. In 2007, the album was acknowledged by Honolulu Magazine as #31 of the 50 All-Time Greatest Hawaiian Recordings, with the original song Lei Pikake acknowledged as #32 in the follow-up 50 All-Time Greatest Songs issue.

Streetlight Cadence
Friday, June 28, 2019 – 7:30 PM:
Streetlight Cadence. Streetlight Cadence is an alternative folk pop sensation. Jonathon, Jesse, Brian, and Ben began as street performers in 2010 in Honolulu, HI, playing for tourists while earning grocery money as college students.
The founding members always had a strong desire to stand out from other music groups. Their classical instruments, family-friendly brand makes Streetlight Cadence a group enjoyed by people of all ages. The band can be described as fun-loving and energetic, and they demonstrate an enormous love for music and friendship in their live performances.
After winning two successive Na Hoku Hanohano Awards for Alternative Album of the Year and a handful of Battle of the Band competitions, Streetlight Cadence decided it was time to leave Hawai’i for the mainland to pursue more opportunities in the industry.
Now based out of Los Angeles, Streetlight Cadence continues to thrive in any environment including traditional live concerts from sidewalks to stadiums.
