The Beach Boys. 
This band has birthed a torrent of hit singles and sold albums by the tens of millions, but its greater significance lies in the fact that their songs have forever changed the musical landscape, profoundly influencing countless performing artists to follow.   The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who, along with Jeffrey Foskett, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher, Christian Love, and Scott Totten, continue the legacy of the iconic American band. Grammy-winning songwriter Bruce Johnston joined the Beach Boys in 1965, replacing Glenn Campbell. Maui County Agricultural Festival

Maui County Agricultural Festival.
  Maui’s prime event to raise awareness about Maui ag while invigorating Maui ag.  The entire industry, its allies, and supporters, come together to share what each group does for the collective good of agriculture in the County, and to showcase ag’s vital role in the economy, environment, and lifestyle of Maui.  Families won’t want to miss this year’s “Maui Legacy Pancake Breakfast” from 8 to 11 a.m. It’s bingo, a raffle and time to honor Maui farmers who have contributed greatly to Maui’s agricultural industry.  One of the big highlights this year is the expanded “Keiki Zone” complete with bouncers, farm games, livestock exhibit, pony and horse rides and family-friendly food. Entertainment stage with an awesome lineup and great giveaways throughout the day.  More hands-on activities found in flower tent. The general public is invited to make fresh flower lei. Candlelit Tours at the Baldwin Home Museum

Candlelit Tours at the Baldwin Home Museum.  Step back in time and visit the Baldwin Home Museum with a tour by candle light. Tours include free light refreshments on the lanai. Tours take place on the half hour from 6 to 8 p.m. Located on the corner of Front and Dickenson Street in the heart of historic Lahaina. Starry Night Cinema: Mary Poppins Returns.  Mary Poppins Returns is a sequel to the 1964 film, Mary Poppins, and stars Emily Blunt as the eponymous character with Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Dick Van Dyke, Angela Lansbury, Colin Firth, and Meryl Streep in supporting roles. Set in 1930s London, 25 years after the events of the original film, Mary Poppins, the former nanny of Jane and Michael Banks, returns one year after a family tragedy.  Now an adult with three children, bank teller Michael Banks learns that his house will be repossessed in five days unless he can pay back a loan. His only hope is to find a missing certificate that shows proof of valuable shares that his father left him years earlier. Just as all seems lost, Michael and his sister receive the surprise of a lifetime when Mary Poppins, the beloved nanny from their childhood, arrives to save the day and take the Banks family on a magical, fun-filled adventure.  Arrive early and enjoy preshow entertainment and an art activity for the kids prior to the film. Maui Humane Society’s Beach Buddies Visitor Program

Every Wednesday and Thursday: 
Maui Humane Society’s Beach Buddies Visitor Program. Do you miss having a dog to spend your day with? Visitors and residents can sign up to take a homeless dog out for the day from the Maui Humane Society animal shelter. The shelter is easy to find as it is conveniently located in Pu`unene (central Maui) on Mokulele Hwy., between Kihei/Wailea and Kahului. Program participants will pick “their dog” up at 10 a.m. and bring them back no later than 3 p.m. MHS provides all the supplies, you just provide the fun! Jake Shimabukuro. 
Jake Shimabukuro’s deft finger work and virtuoso technique transform the `ukulele into an instrument of boundless capabilities.  Jake has been at the forefront of the reinvention of the `ukulele, and includes elements of jazz, blues, rock, pop, classical, and flamenco in his playing.
