  The BFG is a 2016 American fantasy adventure film based on the 1982 novel by Roald Dahl.  In the film, ten-year-old orphan, Sophie, befriends a benevolent big friendly giant and is in for the adventure of a lifetime. Naturally scared at first, the young girl soon realizes that the 24-foot behemoth is actually quite gentle and charming. Bring a low-back beach chair and/or a blanket and spread out on the lawn for a special screening of “The BFG”.  Come early and participate in an art activity for the kids, purchase food and drinks from local food trucks, and enter prize giveaway.
