Ron Artis II & the Truth

Maui

December 14, 2019:
Ron Artis II & the Truth. Ron Artis II plays music from his heart and soul. Raised on Oahu in a creative and religious household led by musically gifted parents, Ron developed his multi-instrumental prowess playing in the Artis Family Band. Piano and guitar became his main modes of expression, though he has mastered numerous other instruments. He caught the attention of some of the big-name musicians in the islands and on the mainland, crossing genres and creating demand for his playing and collaboration. His 2018 debut album, Soul Street, crystallizes the full range of influences: Delta blues and gospel, northern soul and R&B, alongside in-depth and personal lyrics. He’s finally making big waves on the mainland and beyond, and returns to Hawaii on a triumphant tour with his band, The Truth – which includes brother Stevon on drums. Get ready for the tidal wave of heart and soul music that is Ron Artis II & the Truth! Tickets: $26, $31 (plus applicable fees)
