Maui Pops Orchestra “Holiday Pops”.  Maui Pops Orchestra is back with their traditional Holiday Pops concert, bringing favorite holiday music and guest artist, Capathia Jenkins, to the Castle Theater. 18th Annual Lighting of the Banyan Tree

18th Annual Lighting of the Banyan Tree.  Join in the fun with this Lahaina island-style event with a holiday arts and crafts fair along with a variety of local musicians. Music begins at 9 a.m. Keiki activities will kick off at noon with the arrival of Santa at the North Pole. Other activities include cookie decorating, face painting and Christmas crafts. Helping Paws Visitor Volunteer Program

Every Wednesday and Thursday: 
Helping Paws Visitor Volunteer Program.  Do you miss your pet when traveling? Visitors can offer a “helping paw” to homeless animals at the Maui Humane Society shelter, located in Pu`unene (central Maui), on Mokulele Hwy. between Kihei and Kahului. 1 to 3 p.m. Help with such activities as walking dogs, bathing puppies, brushing cats, or playing with puppies and kittens. Arrive by 1 p.m. and wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. For Maui visitors only.  Children age 10 to 17 are welcome when accompanied by a supervising adult for the duration. E Pulama Mau O Maui.  This annual fundraiser will be a generous mix of Maui halau and Maui musicians. There will also be a silent auction, free craft demonstrations, informational booths, and special museum exhibits. The museum will be open for tours and gift shop. Mahina`ai Night

Mahina`ai Night.  Join a torch lit guided tour of a walking trail while learning about Kaho`olawe. Then, gather in the KIRC’s Kalamalama traditional hale, where historical artifacts from Kaho`olawe will be on display, and enjoy live entertainment provided by University of Hawai`i Maui College’s Institute of Hawaiian Music.
