Hana Parade & Ho`olaulea.  2015 Festivals of Aloha fittingly culminates with an action packed agenda in heavenly Hana, with a week-long schedule of events through October 10th. Lots of hula and Hawaiian music, all happening at one of the most authentic unspoiled locations in the world. Parade begins at 9 a.m. at the Hasegawa General Store, 5165 Hana Hwy, Hana.  Ho`olaulea to follow the parade at the Hana Ballpark, with entertainment, food and craft booths, and talent show. 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Official Festivals of Aloha Maui Nui Style ribbons are $5 each and support the countywide events. Candlelit Tours at the Baldwin Home Museum.  Step back in time and visit the Baldwin Home Museum with a tour by candle light. Tours include free light refreshments on the lanai. Mahina`ai Night.  Join a torch lit guided tour of a walking trail while learning about Kaho`olawe. Then, gather in the KIRC’s Kalamalama traditional hale, where historical artifacts from Kaho`olawe will be on display, and enjoy live entertainment provided by University of Hawai`i Maui College’s Institute of Hawaiian Music. Chinese Moon Festival

Friday & Saturday, September 25 & 26: 
Chinese Moon Festival.  Shop the Farmers’ Corner market in the Wo Hing Museum yard. Chinese tea and moon cakes will be served under the sky to the accompaniment of an erhu performance, a fan dance and community lantern dance between 4 and 7 p.m. each evening. Enjoy craft activities like calligraphy, lantern making and a planting workshop. Hear a talk on history of moon festivals in China. Traditional Chinese cuisine will be offered for sale.
