4th Annual “World’s Largest Golf Outing”

Monday, August 11:
4th Annual “World’s Largest Golf Outing”. A benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project, this record breaking event has raised more than $1.1 million for injured service men and women. The simultaneous golf outing will be played at more than 120 BCG-managed courses in 28 states and is open to all golfers regardless of ability.  A USGA handicap is not required. Golfer check-in, shotgun start and entry fee – which includes a $10 donation to WWP, round of golf, cart rental, range balls, lunch, awards reception, on-course contests – vary by course.  All golfers will be entered into a drawing to win a grand-prize, and prizes can be earned by teams with the highest contribution levels and best scores of the day. Obon Dance & Festival. The Obon tradition was brought to Hawai`i by Japanese immigrants and evolved into a social and cultural event, as well as a religious custom designed to honor ancestors through an evening of dance, music and merry-making.
