Waikiki Artfest. Featuring 75 of Hawai`i’s fine artists and handcraft artisans who display their own artwork for sale, to include all types of jewelry, clothing, wood products, stained glass, ceramics, soaps and candles, quilts, photography, and lauhala products. There will be live entertainment and food available to purchase. Amazing Comic Con Aloha
Friday – Sunday, February 22 – 24:
Amazing Comic Con Aloha. For Marvel fans, all four original creators of the “Thanos: Infinity Gauntlet” comic book series that inspired the recent feature film “Avengers: Infinity War: Jim Starlin, George Perez, Ron Lim and Joe Rubenstein will be in attendance for a speaking and signing event. Other guests include Evangeline Lily, from the movies “Ant-Man and The Wasp” and “The Hobbit”; Amy Jo Johnson, the Pink Power Ranger; and Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. General admission tickets for the three-day event are $25, and some special events require separate tickets. In addition to the exhibition hall and speaking events, there will be an international artist alley and video game arena. Hawai`i Convention Center, 1801 Kalakaua Ave., Honolulu. Eat the Street is an organization that gets some of the best food trucks on the island to come together in a designated area, and create a party of its own. Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival

Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival. The program will feature performances by Next Generation (keiki) steel guitar players Ho`ailona Mahuka (11), Pono Fernandez (13), Joey Misailidis (13), and Malie Lyman (14), and Hawaiian steel guitarists Alan Akaka, Jeff Au Hoy, Bobby Ingano, Kapono Lopes, and Greg Sardinha. This will be Kapono’s first appearance at a HIMELE festival. Joey’s younger sister Tai (11) will be featured on the U-bass as a Next Generation musician.
