Chinese Kite Festival in Lahaina & Ka`anapali

Chinese Kite Festival in Lahaina & Ka`anapali. Celebrate the colorful world of kites during a traditional Chinese Kite Festival at the Wo Hing Museum, 858 Front St., Lahaina, on Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. Enjoy an exhibit of handmade kites. Make your own kite or purchase one of the many kites for sale. There will be Chinese music and entertainment as well as Chinese delicacies to purchase. On Saturday, go fly a kite! This family event takes place at the Keka`a North Beach Open Space near the Old Airport Beach in Ka`anapali from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Watch aerial displays of acrobatic sport kites from Hawai`i Kiteflyers Association.
