Chinese Moon Festival
Friday & Saturday, September 25 & 26:
Chinese Moon Festival. Shop the Farmers’ Corner market in the Wo Hing Museum yard. Chinese tea and moon cakes will be served under the sky to the accompaniment of an erhu performance, a fan dance and community lantern dance between 4 and 7 p.m. each evening. Enjoy craft activities like calligraphy, lantern making and a planting workshop. Hear a talk on history of moon festivals in China. Traditional Chinese cuisine will be offered for sale.
