Saturday, December 7: 
4^th Annual Waipa Kalo Festival.  A fun and informative day celebrating kalo with activities for the whole family including educational displays and demonstrations, hands-on keiki activities, unique Kauai artisans, and, of course, amazing food showcasing kalo. Community contests for best kalo recipe, biggest kalo and keiki art. Home grown live music all day. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Located at Waipa’s beautiful Halulu Fishpond, alongside Hanalei Bay.  Fee $5 adults, $1 for keiki under 18.  For information call (808) 826-9969.
