Annual Taste of Hilo.  Featuring more than 30 participating restaurants, chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, and beverage suppliers.  Sponsored by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Hawai`i, event proceeds go to support the Hawai`i Community College culinary program. Each year, a different local ingredient is featured, and culinary students participate by hosting a food station.
