Chinese New Year Celebration.  Ring in the Year of the Rooster on world-famous Front Street! Lahaina celebrates the Lunar New Year with a traditional lion dance, firecrackers and Shaolin martial arts demonstration in the Wo Hing Museum yard on Front Street at 5 p.m. Then, an exciting lion dancing will proceed along Front Street, visiting merchants. Wo Hing Museum will host a free day-long celebration from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with kids’ crafts, cultural demos, traditional music and presentations on the history of Chinese New Year.
