Emalani Elua. Hawai`i Youth Opera presents an opera based on the life of Queen Emma Rooke (Queen consort to King Kamehameha IV). The act II part of the opera will focus on the Queen’s life following the death of her husband and child, her travels to Europe, the founding of the Priory School, and her political aspirations.
