May 2 – 11: Ka`u Coffee Festival. The southern district of Ka`u celebrates its award-winning coffee with events including a day-long ho`olaulea on May 10th at Pahala Community Center, 96-1149 Kamani St., Pahala, with entertainment, crafts, food booths, guided coffee tastings and farm tours.
