Koloa Plantation Days Rodeo (20th Annual). Our Paniolo Heritage Rodeo, the kick off major event of Koloa Plantation Days Festival is an authentic cultural experience of the Hawaiian cowboy. For 3-days, crowds cheer at fast-action high-stakes barrel races,bull riding and roping with traditional and new rodeo sports for the largest prize monies ever. The experience is enhanced with delicious local Paniolo BBQ, Hawaiian music and the display of Paniolos Heritage exhibition.The spectors will enjoy listening to Dr.Billy Bergin, author of numerous books on Hawaii and the rich culture of Paniolos. Over this three action-packed rodeos, paniolo-themed events, legacy music, Hawaiian Pau riders in their flowing skirts and flower leis, children’s rodeo events that will entertain and inspire the future Paniolos. The Cowboys and Cowgirls travel from mainland and other islands to complete in this 20th Annual Koloa Plantation Days Rodeo to be the Champion.
