January 2 – 10: Waimea Ocean Film Festival.  The seventh annual Waimea Ocean Film Festival is at numerous venues on Hawai`i Island, including Waimea theaters, The Fairmont Orchid, Hawai`i, the Mauna Kea Resort and Four Seasons Resort, Hualalai.
