DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 13:  \nDuke Kahanamoku Beach Challenge.  The event kicks off with a double-hulled canoe procession\, an oli (chant) and Kahiko (ancient hula and song) by the Kamehameha Schools Hawaiian Ensemble class.  Events feature a 1/4 mile canoe sprint race in Duke’s Beach\, Ancient Hawaiian Makahiki land games (the public is invited to participate for a donation to WCC)\, which include Huki Kaula (Hawaiian Tug-of-War)\, SUP Paddle Races in Rainbow Lagoon\, Canoe Glide Demonstration in Rainbow Lagoon and Duke Beach. Live entertainment featuring Jake Shimabukuro and Henry Kapono and more.
