Lahaina celebrates the lunar New Year with a traditional lion dance\, firecrackers and kung fu demonstration on the Baldwin Home Museum lawn at 5 p.m. Exciting lion dancing will proceed along on Front Street\, visiting merchants. Wo Hing Museum will host a free celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. with kids’ crafts\, cultural demonstrations and a presentation on the history of Chinese New Year. Chinese foods will be available for purchase.
