Naturally scared at first\, the young girl soon realizes that the 24-foot behemoth is actually quite gentle and charming. Bring a low-back beach chair and/or a blanket and spread out on the lawn for a special screening of “The BFG”.  Come early and participate in an art activity for the kids\, purchase food and drinks from local food trucks\, and enter prize giveaway. It was a time when English and American women were redefining themselves in the face of changing attitudes about gender. The soundtrack reflects that change through the unforgettable music of the time.
