DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, June 5: \nMidway Youth Day.  A day filled with history and STEM activities to commemorate the Battle of Midway.  Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge\, located 1\,300 miles from Oahu\, was the center of WWII battle that “turned the tide in the Pacific.” Students will explore the importance of the battle\, and learn about ongoing efforts to protect and preserve this important site. Lunch and transportation between sites on Ford Island are provided. Free and open to all students in grades 6-9. Space is limited.
