SUMMARY:Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, January 12:\nBig Bad Voodoo Daddy.  Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s music is a vibrant fusion of the classic American sounds of jazz\, swing\, and Dixieland\, with the energy and spirit of contemporary culture. Since their formation in the early 90s in Ventura\, California\, the band has toured virtually nonstop\, performing on average over 150 shows a year\, and has produced a sizable catalog of recorded music. The band’s original horn-infused music and legendary high-energy show introduces the genre to a new and younger generation while remaining cognizant and respectful of swing music’s rich legacy.  Get ready to dance your socks off — this show will have a dance floor in front of the stage.  Maui Arts & Cultural Center\, Castle Theater\, One Cameron Way\, Kahului. 7:30 p.m. For tickets and information call (808) 242-7469 or visit www.mauiarts.org.
