DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 16: \nHawaiian Steel Guitar Festival.  The program will feature performances by Next Generation (keiki) steel guitar players Ho`ailona Mahuka (11)\, Pono Fernandez (13)\, Joey Misailidis (13)\, and Malie Lyman (14)\, and Hawaiian steel guitarists Alan Akaka\, Jeff Au Hoy\, Bobby Ingano\, Kapono Lopes\, and Greg Sardinha. This will be Kapono’s first appearance at a HIMELE festival. Joey’s younger sister Tai (11) will be featured on the U-bass as a Next Generation musician.
