Cultural practices of lauhala and coconut weaving\, Polynesian carving and fireknife dancing\, shell craft\, and lomilomi massage are demonstrated. The event provides a venue for the next generation of Polynesian entertainers to gain performance experience. The event helps preserve and perpetuate Tahitian language\, history\, ledgends\, music drumming and dancing. This concert features Sean Na’auao. \nHenry Kapono is a performer who has it all – vocalist\, guitarist\, songwriter\, composer\, thrilling performer\, audience favorite—and multiple honors and awards\, including a Grammy nomination. He has taken home numerous Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards\, including Male Vocalist of the Year\, Song of the Year\, Single of the Year\, and Album & Rock Album of the Year. \nSean Na‘auao is a slack key guitarist\, vocalist\, composer\, producer\, and founder of independent record label\, Poi Pounder. He has received multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Awards\, including Island Contemporary Album of the Year for his popular\, “Fish and Poi.”  Sean was a founding member of Mana’o Company\, a group that made a huge mark on the Hawaiian music scene in the ‘80s and ‘90s.
