On September 21\, 2019 the Kau Coffee Trail Run returns for its 6th year offering moderate to highly-challenging 5K\, 10K and 1/2 marathon races through macadamia nut and coffee fields along the beautiful slopes of rural Kau on the southern side of Hawaii Island. Sponsored by O Kau Kakou\, a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) non -profit community service organization. All proceeds from this event stay in Kau to benefit the Kau community. The race begins and ends at the Kau Coffee Mill in Pahala (Wood Valley). The course starts with a family-friendly 5K\, continues uphill through a moderately-challenging 10K and reaches a 3100-foot elevation in the vigorously-exhilarating Half Marathon. Invite your friends and family to cheer you on.Runners will receive a race goodies bag\, T-shirt (guaranteed shirt size ends August 27 midnight) and more. On-line registration opens May 1st… Register before midnight by July 09\, 2019\, for Early registration\, before August 13th for Regular registration and before September 10th for Late registration.
