DESCRIPTION:September 14\, 2019:\nPailolo Challenge 2019. The Pailolo Challenge is a 26-mile race from DT Fleming Beach\, Maui to Kaunakakai\, Molokai. Paddlers gather from Hawaii\, USA\, Canada\, Australia and more to test themselves in excellent channel crossing conditions. Since it’s inceptiont he race has caught on and considered to be the most consistent and funnesty canoe race in Hawaii. The Pailolo Challenge is organized and staffed by Hawaiian Canoe Club. The mission of HCC is to perpetuate and preserve the art of Hawaiian canoe paddling by providing an environment rooted in traditional Hawaiian values that promote personal growth\, character development\, and achievement in physical fitness.

SUMMARY:Moon Festival
DESCRIPTION:September 14\, 2019:\nMoon Festival. Celebrate the Chinese Moon Festival and taste traditional tea and mooncakes in the beautifully decorated Tea Garden. The Tea Master presents the history and traditions of tea\, along with tea tasting and moon cakes for sampling and sale. Special moon cakes are available; sweet\, round cakes in the shape of the moon. There will also be presentations and displays in the historic Cookhouse. Live Chinese music entertains the attendees\, cultural practitioners offer free hands on cultural activities\, such as Calligraphy\, and a special craft activity for the keiki (children). Wo Hing Museum\, Cookhouse and Grounds will be open from 10 am to 9 pm on Friday with free admission. The four days prior to the event\, the museum is open 10 am-4 pm with free admission. \n
