The noodle will be colorful\, flexible\, and marked with “3-Foot Law”.\nAfter the ride\, all are welcome to join us at DOWN TO EARTH HAWAII for brunch/lunch (non-host).\nThe intent is to remind vehicle drivers that there is a new 3-Foot Law in Hawaii (as well as 36 other states) to keep at least a three foot distance from cyclists at all times in order to make the roads safer for all.\nWe hope this ride will communicate the importance of giving cyclists space\, a rule not all drivers are aware of. Our additional messages are to remind both drivers and cyclists to respect the rules of the road and to respect each other. Residents and visitors are encouraged to join us for this fun and very important opportunity.\nMore Resources:\nWhat is the 3 FOOT LAW?\nWhat is a NOODLE RIDE?\nAnyone is welcome\, whether a member of MBL\, or not. If not\, please consider joining for a small annual fee to support Maui Bicycling League advocacy for bike pathways.MBL ride leaders will lead each ride and a support vehicle will follow.
