We have  music \,food\, and some great shave ice\,  Our festival is located directly across from the entrance to the Honolulu Zoo at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki\, and we’re there both days from 9am to 4pm. The public is invited to join the artists for the opening reception on Saturday\, January 11\, 5-7 p.m. at Pictures Plus in Kona.\nInspired by the natural beauty of Hawaii\, SOKO artists will be showing a wide range of art\, including painting\, photography\, woven and natural fiber art\, woodcut prints\, jewelry\, woodworking\, mosaics and sculpture. All art will be available for purchase. SOKO is a group of professional artists who come together to expand their creative vision and generate events that support artists and delight art lovers.\nThe exhibition is from Saturday\, January 11 through Friday\, January 24 at Pictures Plus\, 75-1006 Henry Street\, Kailua-Kona\, and will be open 9:30 – 5 p.m. Monday – Saturday. An American vibaphonist and percussionist who was recorded on over 1\,350 film scores and recorded with more than 650 artists from Elvis to Pavarotti. He is famous for the finger snaps on “The Addams Family” theme song. This tribute showcases local musicians who played with Richards\, a part time Maui resident and regular at Blackie’s Bar in Lahaina from 1982-1995. Proceeds benefit Jazz Maui’s music education programs.
