Every Monday: Historic Waimea Walking Tour. Take a 3 hour walk back through time in the place where Captain Cook first landed in Waimea. Learn about the last King of Kaua`i, the missionaries, and other famous citizens of Waimea and the landmarks they left behind. Beginning May 10th, the National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG) will have free weekly hula shows every Thursday from 2–2:45 PM at the NTBG South Shore Visitors Center located at 4425 Lāwa‘i Road across the street from Spouting Horn.
