DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 18: \nParade of Whales & World Whale Day.  The Parade of Whales is the official kick-off to World Whale Day.  The parade features participants of all ages and includes floats\, marching bands\, costumed characters\, decorated vehicles and fun performances.  The parade starts at 9 a.m. on S. Kihei Road near the Kamaole I Beach parking lot. It follows a one-mile route north\, ending at the entrance to the World Whale Day festival at Kalama Park.
