Moon Festival

Moon Festival. Celebrate the Chinese Moon Festival and taste traditional tea and mooncakes in the beautifully decorated Tea Garden. The Tea Master presents the history and traditions of tea, along with tea tasting and moon cakes for sampling and sale. Special moon cakes are available; sweet, round cakes in the shape of the moon. There will also be presentations and displays in the historic Cookhouse. Live Chinese music entertains the attendees, cultural practitioners offer free hands on cultural activities, such as Calligraphy, and a special craft activity for the keiki (children). Wo Hing Museum, Cookhouse and Grounds will be open from 10 am to 9 pm on Friday with free admission. The four days prior to the event, the museum is open 10 am-4 pm with free admission.
